North Shore Remembers

2018 marks 100 years since the end of WW1, a special remembrance which North Shore Academy has been spending time teaching our students about the importance of remembrance and remembering those who have fought, died, survived any war. The school has been covering this across a wide range of subjects including History, Art and VMG.

Our Art department created a wonderful centerpiece to commemorate the 100 years with all students in the academy designing a poppy to remember a soldier who fought from Stockton. We then had a whole school assembly to remember those who fought in the war including our very own Ned Cooper who won the VC.

North Shore Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.
