Students at Northern Education Trust North Shore Academy, one of the trust’s 17 secondary academies, are celebrating another strong set of GCSE results across a range of subjects.

The academy has also achieved a significant number of strong passes (Grade 5 and above) in English and maths. More than 61% of students achieved Grade 5+ in English, while over 54% achieved Grade 5+ in maths, demonstrating continued progress and sustained improvement on last year’s results.

There were some outstanding individual successes:

Rob Byrne, Principal of North Shore Academy thanked the students and staff for their efforts and commitment, saying: “these results are the culmination of years of hard work for our students, and I’m absolutely delighted with their achievements. I’d like to express my thanks to staff for their continued efforts – the results are testament to their continuous support, energy and enthusiasm. My thanks also go to the parents, carers, academy council members and the trust board for their continued support – our students and staff couldn’t succeed without your help.”

Adam Palmer, Executive Principal of North Shore Academy added his praise, saying: “Students are to be congratulated for these results, and they should be very proud of what they’ve accomplished. They have all worked incredibly hard to achieve at these levels, and the results reflect the dedication and commitment they have shown.”
