Online learning
As part of our commitment to supporting students’ learning beyond the classroom, Northern Education Trust provides students with access to specialist online learning platforms across a number of subjects. Students receive their log in details for these through their subject teachers and are expected to complete their online learning in line with the curriculum.
Below is an overview of the different online learning platforms available:
Seneca is a homework platform that is used in English and Science. Students can access retrieval quizzes and tutorials that are set by their teachers.
Sparx Maths is a platform used in Maths to support students with tailored homework that is designed to respond to an individual student’s ability and progress.
LanguageNut supports students in Modern Foreign Languages to engage with regular practice of key vocabulary through listenings & readings.
The NET History website is a specifically designed website for the NET History curriculum. Through this site, students can access revision materials (including videos and podcasts) and complete quizzes based on what students are learning in the curriculum.
